Premiums & Boat Drawings

As you raise pledges, keep an eye on this page for great items that are available at various pledge total levels. New items are added as they come in from our generous donors. The more you raise, the higher the value of the premiums for which you are eligible.

You may claim one item from the Premium Level that you qualify for (based on the amount that you have raised) or a lower pledge amount category. This is to say that if you raised $500, but don't see anything in that category that you would like to claim, you can claim something from either the $400 or $300 level instead.

Premiums are available on a first come, first served basis, which is a good incentive to do your fundraising early!

PLEASE NOTE: We must have received your eligible pledges before you can claim a premium. Pledges through online personal fundraising pages qualify soon after they are made, but if you have any offline/paper pledges, you need to send them in before claiming a premium.

Big Prize Drawings

Big Prize Drawings When you reach $300 in pledge, you can put your name in the hat for one of the big prize drawings – a fully-equipped Kevlar® Ultra-Light Minnesota II Wenonah Canoe, a Vision 135 Current Designs kayak, a weekend trip to Lutsen Resort, or other great prizes. Then, for each additional $50 that you raise your name will be entered again in the drawing you have chosen! For example, if you raise $600, your name will be entered into the drawing SEVEN times! This is a great incentive to stretch your goal and challenge yourself to raise as much as possible for the river. This drawing is independent of the other premiums and your entry into the drawing is not affected by another premium that you might select.

Also, if you bring other paddlers on board, you can have an additional entry for each person you recruit! Please see the recuiter page for more information.

The drawings will be held during the Historic Fort Snelling festivities . Only pledges turned in by the morning of July 28th will be considered when entering names into the drawings. More information about the prizes will be posted as it becomes available. Upon registration, you should selected (or will select) which drawing you would like to be entered into for raising $300 or more or recruiting other paddlers. If you would like to change your selection at any point prior to the event, please contact Adam Flett at aflett@fmr.org.
